Interviews & Focus Groups

Interviews give you insights into the motives and requirements of your target group. The results inform the prioritisation of features, development roadmaps and added value from the user’s point of view. We offer individual interviews, focus groups and roundtable workshops.

User & Usability Tests

Usability tests can reveal potential problems in the application already at an very early stage of development. Users are invited, given certain tasks, observed and asked about any barriers or problems.

Online Surveys

Written or oral surveys of a large number of users serve to consolidate and validate qualitative results (e.g. from previous individual or focus group interviews) with quantitative data.

Behavioural Observation

Observing users in real contexts provides authentic and insightful results that can be used to improve prototypes and already available digital innovations.

Design Thinking

Design thinking is an approach to problem solving and idea development that involves users and other stakeholders directly in the development and innovation process through various participatory creative methods.

Emotion Measurement

In the course of research projects, we also deal with different tools for measuring users’ emotions while they interact with an application, e.g. the Product Emotion Measurement Instrument (PrEmo) or the Geneva Emotion Wheel (GEW).

Diary Studies

In diary studies or experience sampling, a group of users is asked to test an MVP (Minimum Viable Product = first minimally functional iteration of a product) over a period of time and regularly report on their user experience. This method also maps the temporal course of UX (UX over time).

Prototyping & Interaction Design

For a quick and uncomplicated visualisation of user interfaces, interactions or workflows, we create click dummies & wireframes. In addition, we also offer workshops for our clients for using the online tool Figma, to create click prototypes quickly and easily.

In our User Feedback Lab we recruit “real users in real contexts”.

With our User Feedback Lab we stand for authentic user feedback from real people from all environments and realities of life. The tests are carried out exactly where the product is to be used: at home, at work or on the road. We come to where the users are. We don’t believe in artificial test environments and design all user tests to be as authentic and unbiased as possible.
